Measuring

As a general rule, the following steps will help you perform a 'home' measurement. However, the information contained here is offered as a general guideline and is not intended to replace your contacting a Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) before purchasing any product.

This procedure should be conducted while wearing a bra.

Just under the arms and below the breast, measure your torso. Round up to an even number, i.e, 34, 36, 38, etc. to determine band size. Measure around the fullest part of your bust, do not tighten the tape. Subtract the 'torso' measurement from the 'bust' measurement. This determines the cup size, eg., every one-inch difference equals a cup size. Example: Less than a one inch difference would equal an A cup; a two-inch difference would equal a B cup, etc.

Note: If your 'band' size is 40 inches (40") or greater, you will want to add 3-½ inches to achieve a more exact fit. Again, you would round up to the next even number.
